Sweco Achieves Milestone with 20th Consecutive RoSPA Gold Award for Health & Safety Excellence

We’re proud to announce that Sweco has earned the prestigious Order of Distinction from the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) for an impressive 20th year in a row.

This significant achievement underscores our unwavering dedication to the highest standards of health and safety, reflecting our deep commitment to both excellence and the welfare of our colleagues.

The prestigious RoSPA Awards, now in their 68th year, are recognized as the UK’s most significant and far-reaching health and safety awards program. Each year, they attract nearly 2,000 entries from organisations across more than 50 countries, directly affecting the lives of over seven million workers.

Participating in the RoSPA Awards is not just about recognition; it’s a chance to be at the forefront with other leaders who are actively creating safer and healthier work environments.

As of this year, the RoSPA award entry process can be used as reflective practise to contribute to continuing professional development (CPD).

Melody Bagnall, Health and Safety Manager, shares her enthusiasm:

“We are immensely proud to earn the Order of Distinction from the RoSPA for an incredible 20th year. This is a landmark achievement for Sweco which demonstrates our relentless commitment to fostering a robust, proactive health and safety culture that benefits our colleagues and clients alike.”

Julia Small, RoSPA’s Achievements Director, said:

“Workplace accidents don’t just pose financial risks and operational disruptions; they significantly impact the quality of life for individuals. This is why acknowledging and rewarding excellent safety performance is vital.

“We congratulate Sweco UK & Ireland for winning a prestigious RoSPA Award and showing an unwavering commitment to keeping employees, clients and customers safe from accidental harm and injury.”

Sponsored by Croner-i, the RoSPA Awards scheme is the longest-running of its kind in the UK, and receives entries from organisations across the globe, making it one of the most sought-after achievement awards for the health and safety industry.

Ben Chaplain, Managing Director at Croner-i, said:

“We are proud to sponsor the RoSPA Awards for a second year, which emphasises our dedication to prioritising health and safety—an essential foundation for lasting success and wellbeing at work.”
