Matthew Digby Awarded ICE Fellowship

Congratulations to Matthew Digby, Technical Director in the Geo-Environment team in Advisory and Planning, who has recently been elected a Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE).

Fellowship is the highest grade of membership awarded by the Institution and is recognised around the world.  It is the ultimate mark of distinction that is reserved for senior civil engineers who have made a significant contribution to the civil engineering profession, shining a light on their leadership, knowledge, skills, and experience.

Matthew will play a key role in the influencing and shaping the future of Civil Engineering, through sharing insights in his area of interest via panels, events, and online discussions, and mentoring the next generation of civil engineers.

I am honoured to have been accepted as a Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers, which provides the opportunity for me to really give something back and act as a role model for the next generation.  In 2022, I look forward to continuing to mentor Sweco’s engineers and geologists, providing support in their career development. I also look forward to helping deliver the infrastructure needed to support the sustainability goals of Sweco and our clients.
