Client Update – Sweco Business Continuity
The Sweco Crisis Management Team is continuing to closely monitor the impact of the Coronavirus and provide regular updates to our employees. While we follow UK Government advice, we have instigated additional measures to further protect our employees, contractors and clients.
Sweco and MLM have adopted a ‘digital first’ approach to client and external meetings. It is now advised that all international and national business travel be re-arranged to Skype or Teams technology. We have also asked that any employee returning from international travel, self-isolate and work from home for a period of 14 days.
We are working closely with IT to offer agile working options across our offices and do not foresee the Coronavirus as having an impact on our current employee structure. We have significantly expanded our VPN access and most of our consultants already have laptops and are able to work from home, enabling service delivery to continue as normal. Where individuals do not have laptops or need additional technology, we have adopted additional measures to ensure ongoing productivity. We have also provided Line Managers with guidance to enable them to support home working teams.
We do not envisage any significant supply chain risks in association with the Coronavirus.
