Sweco Partners with the Leeds Community Foundation to Make a Difference

11 March 2020

We are delighted to partner with the Leeds Community Foundation and to sponsor their 100 Club events programme. Sweco is committed to supporting local communities and our focus on social value is an integral part of our strategy. Like the Leeds Community Foundation, we act as a catalyst for positive change – be it through the many hours of volunteering work undertaken by our colleagues, the money we have raised for local charities or the expertise we are delivering to the region through our various projects. We look forward to working with the Leeds Community Foundation over the coming year and making a difference together.

Speaking of the partnership, Max Joy, our Sweco UK president said: “We are proud to support the work of the Leeds Community Foundation, and are proud of the opportunities that they, and their partners, are creating for those most in need across the city. We are determined to contribute to Leeds Community Foundation to change lives and make a difference to our city”.

“Through Sweco’s ongoing support, they not only financially support our work but also help to raise the profile of the Foundation across Leeds to enable us to reach new partners and donors,” said Kate Hainsworth, Chief Executive, Leeds Community Foundation.

Leeds Community Foundation distributes grants, shares advice and uses specialist knowledge to help community projects thrive, so they can make an even greater impact and create opportunities for people to be Healthy and Well, Work and Learn and be Financially well, Thrive and Be Safe, and Experience and Play.
