Sweco strengthens its digital offering with the appointment of a new Digital Manager

14 September 2020
We are delighted to welcome Craig Hardingham as the new Digital Manager in our Water and Asset Management team. Craig joined today, Monday 14 September.

Well known within the industry as a member of the UK BIM Alliance Communities leadership team and chair of BIM UK Alliance East, Craig will be responsible for strengthening Sweco’s digital brand and capability whilst driving the digital delivery of our projects. In this role, he will work closely with colleagues both here in the UK, as well as across Sweco Group, in sharing knowledge and developing best practice workflows and standards for digital delivery.

Speaking of this strategic appointment, Andy Sang, Sweco’s Water and Asset Management Director said, “We are delighted to have Craig on board as the breadth of his expertise will help us accelerate our digital journey and ensure that initiatives which we have brought, to great effect, from the Nordics including zero drawings, parametric design and web viewer, will become business as usual.”

“Our industry is changing at a rapid pace,” added Craig. “One positive to come out of the COVID-19 pandemic is that it has demonstrated how digital technologies can benefit our daily lives. It is an exciting time to be joining Sweco and I am looking forward to enhancing our digital offering to clients.”

Prior to joining Sweco, Craig worked as a BIM consultant with Evolve Consultancy where he developed and defined project standards, model coordination and quality assurance using Solibri and other coordination platforms. Prior to that, he worked for over 15 years with MLM Group, which Sweco acquired in May 2019. Whilst at MLM, Craig developed and implemented the MLM Group BIM standards and workflows which led to Business BIM Certification in 2016 (successfully re-certified in 2017 and 2018).
