The Bower Project receives Buildings’ Refurbishment Project of the Year Award

13 November 2019

We are delighted to announce that one of our projects, the Bower, has been awarded the “Refurbishment Project of the Year” award by Buildings magazine. Located next to London’s Old Street roundabout, The Bower is a mixed-use landmark designed by Allford Hall Monaghan Morris (AHMM) Architects, offering 48,300 m2 of vibrant retail and restaurant space at ground level with three high-quality office buildings framing the mews; The Tower, The Warehouse and The Studio.

Our Buildings team were appointed to develop the Bower scheme and create a Technology, Media and Telecommunications hub with exposed services solutions in the existing buildings. They were also responsible for the design of the systems to achieve total energy reductions, and the exposed services in all areas to maximise floor to ceiling.

Speaking of the accolade, Adam Scott, our Operations Director said: “We are delighted to have contributed to the success of this project, and for it to join the growing list of award-winning projects delivered by our people.”
