Asset Management converts the aims of an organisation into the practical implications for acquiring, creating, maintaining, disposing or renewing assets to deliver those aims. Sweco's asset management practice helps clients to deliver the maximum value from their fixed assets: people, finance, equipment, technology, land, buildings or structures, to enable the highest possible standards of service delivery, within risk and financial constraints. We are approved as endorsed assessor by the Institute of Asset Management (IAM) for PAS 55 and ISO 55000.
Sweco have expertise in and knowledge of the key regulatory processes from price setting through to regulatory monitoring and control to market reform. This is predominantly focussed around the water and airport sectors having helped a number of clients develop their submissions over previous regulatory periods.
We also have a number of consultants who currently lead aspects of the price setting and regulatory review process for water companies.
Sweco currently operates in the water wholesale and airports market, both in the UK and across Europe. Many of our asset management staff have worked in operational, maintenance, design, delivery and strategic management positions and this provides us with a holistic understanding of regulatory processes.
