Transport Planning and Development Infrastructure

In today’s built environments, people need to be able to travel efficiently and safely, in order to live, work, and function as citizens in everyday life. Sweco’s transport planning team understand the need to balance the demand for access by car, while supporting and promoting more sustainable and active travel modes, in the development of transport infrastructure.

Development Infrastructure

Sweco’s civil engineering team can draw on their multi-disciplinary skills to support new development infrastructure, with well designed, integrated, sustainable and cost effective solutions.

From site feasibility studies, securing consent for development, designing the infrastructure, through to the procurement, supervision and handover of the workplace, Sweco works closely with the client and wider development team.

Our engineers work on infrastructure for both brown and greenfield land developments. Their skills are valued in carrying out projects such as site investigations prior to construction of a residential estate, carrying out drainage assessments as part of the approvals process, and contributing towards the tender preparation and contractor procurement in large commercial projects.
