Sweco is a leading deliverer of end to end Building Safety and Compliance services with a specific division to provide both statutory and consultative solutions. Our specialists have extensive experience across all sectors and levels of complexity, while our Building Safety, Health & Safety and Building Control teams collectively have the highest levels of competence. We work in a proactive and collaborative way to ensure your legal obligations are met, while adding value to project designs and the build process itself, including Building Regulation monitoring.
Our technical competence, cross-sector experience, industry leading processes and ISO17020 accreditation means we are ideally placed to advise you on existing and upcoming regulatory changes. Our service offering is being developed in line with the Building Safety Bill and emphasis on the Golden Thread to ensure you not only met current regulatory requirements but also your projects are future proofed.
One of our immediate focus areas is helping our clients to deal with the changes under the new Building Safety Bill, which is currently in draft with the Government, and due for Royal Assent in June 2022. Sweco is well placed to be one of pioneers in the area, as we already have the right processes in place to control information and keep it safe. Our internal auditing systems and trackers are what the building safety bill ask for.
