Sweco helps Canary Wharf reach new heights of building services excellence at One Park Drive

As lead building services engineer, Sweco provided mechanical, electrical, public health services design at One Park Drive, as well as energy and sustainability consultancy on the project.

Across 58 storeys and standing at 205 metres high, One Park Drive comprises a blend of duplex Penthouses, Loft, Cluster and Bay apartments as well as communal amenity and leisure spaces.

Coupled with Herzog & de Meuron’s unique architectural vision for a highly sculpted tower, which incorporated outdoor amenity space for each apartment, the building presented a unique and varied MEP challenge which our team relished and overcame through close collaboration across our teams and with our esteemed partners.

We also worked closely with Canary Wharf to deliver comprehensive information for the various Trade Packages which included Modern Methods of Construction with offsite fabricated bathroom pods and prefabricated building services modules for the central plant and in the apartments.

One Park Drive is one of seven buildings Sweco has helped to deliver within the Wood Wharf development for Canary Wharf Group.
