A prime office development in Manchester’s most distinctive new neighbourhood

Manchester is booming. The horizon is filled with cranes, signifying the thriving city’s continued growth which shows no signs of stalling.

To facilitate the number of businesses and eager jobseekers migrating to the country’s second capital, developers are focusing on bringing prime location, top specification office space to the city. No.8 First Street is just one example.

Work began on the project in 2016, but encountered challenges when main contractor, Carillion, collapsed in January 2018. Raynor Rowen stepped in to complete the build on a construction management basis, adding finishing touches, public realm and snagging works, ahead of the development’s completion in Q3 of 2019.

We were appointed as the Approved Inspector while the development was under construction. As this professional partnership continues to flourish, ASK Real Estates has also appointed us to support it on the development of No.9 First Street, as well as a new hotel at 325 Deansgate, Manchester.
