Sweco provided the Noise and Vibration section of the EIA for the overall Great Kneighton site for 2,300 dwellings to the south of Cambridge and also provide the RMA assessments for 3 of the 7 land parcels.

Project story
The site is location on an area of land bounded by the Guided Busway, a main line railway, Addenbrookes Hospital and a major road. We provided detailed transport noise modelling of the area to determine the impact of a significant scheme on the wider road network. For the RMA work on individual plots we provided detailed façade assessments and assessments of noise from building services equipment.
